To Pocono Medical Center,

We're honored to be able to give back to Pocono Medical Center, which has served our community and us personally for so many years. For more than three decades, we've made our home in the Poconos. We've watched with pride how our small community hospital has grown to a regionally, nationally, and even globally recognized center of excellence. Our youngest child was born at PMC, and we've used the facilities of the Medical Center many times. As we get older, it's a comfort to know that if or when illness or emergency strikes, expert medical help and a top of the line facility is close to home.

Our support and involvement with PMC is truly a family affair. My wife has been active with the PMC Auxiliary supporting many projects over the years including the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, the Mattiolli Emergency Department, the ESSA Heart and Vascular Institute and now the New Dale and Frances Hughes Cancer Center. Not only has it been an honor to contribute our time and resources, it has also introduced us to an extended family of like- minded community members who are dedicated to supporting the Medical Center as it grows and thrives.

PMC has afforded me so many opportunities to practice as a urological surgeon. I've admitted many patients to PMC over the years. As a physician, I have always been extremely impressed with the high caliber of the facilities and services. But it's the personal, caring touch from the staff and how they treat each patient like family, which has moved and inspired me. Over the years, I've heard testimonials from many patients who were grateful for the compassionate care they received during some of the most frightening and difficult times of their lives.

We believe there's nothing more priceless than your health. Words cannot express how important it is to have a strong community hospital right here in our own backyard for our family, friends, and neighbors. Giving back to PMC is truly a privilege and an honor. Thank you for the opportunity to do our part for this important resource that makes a difference in the health and lives of so many.
